|Acrylic and spraypaint on Board-4ftby4ft |
I really appreciate you! for taking the time to check out my work and if you like it then please give me a watch. I have been making art most of my adult life and I will continue to do so for the remainder of it. It's a part of who I am and I doubt anything will ever change that.
Most of my art is hand painted acrylic on canvas but I never limit myself to one type of media or one technique. I enjoy experimenting with art because I believe this is what art is for. It's a tool to help us grow as an individual or even a culture as a whole. My art changes as I change. As most artists work does. I like to think that my art is an extension of my subconscious. Colorful and obsessive with detail. Impossible to take it all in at first glance and sometimes overwhelming in a controlled chaos type of way. Yet -when you take the time to really look at it the combination will reveal an unlimited amount of content. The same goes with my subconscious. So many random thoughts it sometimes seems impossible to get a grip on reality. What painting has done for me is given me an creative objective view point into something that seems like a tidal wave of chaotic nonsense. I need art. It's essential to my well being and I would be lost with out it. This I know for sure.
This has always been extremely difficult for me to explain to people -regarding what my art means. How do you sum up something that is so essential to your life. It takes a lifetime to develop so how are you supposed to sum up years and years of practice and development into a nice neat paragraph. All I know is that making art over the years has given me this detached perspective that enables me to mature as an artist and realize the meanings of what my art is about which before escaped my grasp of understanding.
Again, Thank You for taking the time to read this.
I'll be adding more to it as time permits. Feel free to message me about purchasing work or if you have any questions regarding my art.
Never stop creating. It's what we do. It's who we are.
